What does the monologue generator need from me?
Three things matter most: who is speaking, who they are speaking to, and what is happening. The more specific you are, the better the draft. "A nurse on her last shift, talking to the patient’s son in the hallway" gives the AI a listener and a pressure. "A sad woman" does not.
Can I use an AI monologue for an audition?
Use it as raw material, not a finished piece. AI drafts tend to explain feelings and wrap up too neatly. Rewrite it until every line is something you would say, add specific details from your own imagination, and cut the ending if it summarises. Or pick a finished original from the monologues collection.
How is the running time worked out?
From the word count, at 140 spoken words a minute. It is an estimate; your pace and pauses decide the real time, so read it aloud with a timer.
