Honest by design

How ScriptLix coverage stays honest

What code measures, what an AI reader judges, where your pages go, and whether ScriptLix trains on your script.

Same script, same score

  • The five scores in the deep report (structure, dialogue balance, scene economy, character spread and formatting) are calculated by code from your pages: where the act breaks fall, how long scenes run, how dialogue and action balance, who speaks and how cues are laid out. No AI model sets them, so the same script gets the same five numbers every time.

  • The free quick read works differently. Its 1 to 100 score and its craft scores come from an AI reader, so running the same pages again can give a different number. Treat it as a first read, not a measurement.

Every note points at a page

  • In the deep report every note has to name a page or a scene. Before the report is built, code checks each one. A note that names no page, a page past the end of your script, a scene that does not exist, or a page outside the scene it names is dropped, not printed.

  • That check proves the page is real. It does not prove the reader was right about it, so open the page yourself before you rewrite.

Where your pages go

  • Your script is stored on our servers in Germany so your report stays reachable. It is never published, shared or sold.

  • To read it, the text goes to our AI providers over their APIs, as our privacy policy sets out.

  • There is no delete button yet. Email [email protected] with "Data Request" in the subject and we erase your scripts and reports within 30 days. Copies in backups roll off within about 6 months.

Does my script train AI?

  • ScriptLix does not train AI models on your screenplays. To write the notes, the script text is sent to our AI providers, DeepSeek and OpenAI, under their API terms, and DeepSeek's terms allow it to use those inputs to improve its own models.

Questions writers ask

Will the same script always get the same score on ScriptLix?
The five deep report scores, yes. Code calculates them from your pages, so the same file gets the same numbers. The free quick read score comes from an AI reader and can move between runs.
Does ScriptLix cite pages in its notes?
Yes, in the deep report. Every note has to name a page or scene that exists in your script, and code drops any note that does not.
Is my script used to train AI?
ScriptLix does not train AI models on your screenplays. To write the notes, the script text is sent to our AI providers, DeepSeek and OpenAI, under their API terms, and DeepSeek's terms allow it to use those inputs to improve its own models. Your script is never published, shared or sold by us.
How do I delete my script?
Email [email protected] with "Data Request" in the subject. We erase scripts and reports within 30 days; backups roll off within about 6 months.
