What the numbers say
The Black List looked at 128,020 evaluations of more than 71,000 projects. When two readers scored the same script, they gave the exact same overall score 30% of the time and were within one point 73.8% of the time.
Hosting is $30 a month per project and an evaluation is $100. We could not open blcklst.com to check this ourselves, so these prices come from the articles linked.
A script that scores 8 or higher from a paid reader can earn free hosting and free evaluations.
How writers use both
Use ScriptLix on every draft to find the weak pages and see whether a rewrite moved the numbers. Pay for a Black List evaluation when the draft is ready for a human reader and you want industry members to be able to find it.
