About ScriptLix

What We Are

ScriptLix is a home for screenwriters. Run coverage on your script for free, rewrite it in Studio, and put your best scene on Scene of the Day. We also publish our own screenplays, which you can read for $6.99 a script.

Every screenplay on ScriptLix is published by ScriptLix. We do not host third-party listings, accept outside submissions, or operate as a marketplace. We are the sole publisher of every title in our catalog.

How Our Screenplays Are Made

Every screenplay on ScriptLix is developed in house using AI tools under human direction. A person chooses the concept, then reads and corrects the draft before it is published.

Our Free Tools

The free screenwriting tools and guides are written and reviewed by ScriptLix Editorial. The editorial policy explains how they are built, where the numbers come from and how AI is used.

The Problem We Solve

Coverage costs money and takes weeks. Screenwriting software costs money and lives on one machine. Feedback from friends is kind and useless. ScriptLix puts a scored read, a place to rewrite and a public number in one browser tab, and most of it costs nothing.

How We're Different

We read the whole script before scoring it. Studio formats as you type and keeps your drafts on your machine. Scene of the Day is public, so getting picked means something. And we say plainly how our own screenplays are made.

• Free coverage: A 1 to 100 score with strengths and weaknesses, in about twenty seconds. No account to start.
• Studio: A screenplay editor in your browser. Correct format as you type, Script Buddy at the caret.
• Scene of the Day: When the read finds a scene worth quoting, one page of yours can go up.
• Deep coverage: A full written report on your script for $29 when you want the long read.
• Screenplays to read: Every script we publish opens with a free first act. The full script is $6.99, yours to keep.
