RATION ROLLS

Sergeant Jonah Pike has been a prisoner at Andersonville for seven months and has watched the camp kill thirteen thousand men through starvation, disease, and deliberate neglect. When he traces a foul tasting rumor about the evening stew back to the mass graves, he discovers the Confederate kitchens have been committing the war's most unspeakable secret to keep the ration books balanced. The commander offers him a deal: help suppress the coming riot and walk out of Andersonville alive.
