Questions writers ask

Is Coverfly coming back?

No relaunch has been announced. Coverfly closed on August 1, 2025, and coverfly.com still did not load when we checked on October 2, 2026.

Can I get my Coverfly score or placements back?

No. The rankings and the Red List were not moved anywhere. Keep your own list of placements; most contests publish their winners and finalists on their own sites.

Where do screenwriting contests take entries now?

Most take entries on FilmFreeway or on their own sites. Our contest directory lists deadlines, fees and what each one offers.

Where can I get script coverage now?

Human coverage services and AI tools both still exist. ScriptLix gives you a free AI read with a 1 to 100 score and the first thing to fix in about twenty seconds, with no account.
